Focusing on the user is one of the most primary aspects of all. The first and foremost thing to be remembered by any designer is to make sure that you don’t end up designing with your design perspective. A user’s usability is more defines the success of a website.

From graphic, text, and design everything should be designed to make it compatible with your user. As a designer, your intuitions may realm well with ideologies of UI/UX but it may not fit in with the user’s point of view. In such cases, it is always important to prioritize your user, communicate with them, and create a bridge between fuzzy designs and the flow of the website.

2. Cognitive Load Reduction with Clarity and Simplicity

As a creator, you must simplify the functionality for users, whenever they land on a webpage it should be flexible for them to perform actions of their choices your user should not be pulled into various directions in the bid to find the call to actions or the information for which they actually came. A website should clearly address the needs of the user and navigate them to their desired output in the bare minimum steps taken.

This can be efficiently done by placing URLs, Buttons and keeping information handy. Usability should be kept above design. Keeping in mind the layout first helps you to have a very clear and simple navigation-friendly landing page whereas design and creative elements should always come at the end. Design flexibility is a must.

3. Website is not Read they are scanned

And this is where another UX principle comes i.e. – “Make your page scannable” but how?

Using visuals, graphics, and infographics to convey your instructions. It becomes easier to create the experience by radically improving the visual context of the website. And if someone wants to read they can switch directly on the information shown.

4. Be consistent

One of the extremely important points in UX is to be consistent. Human brains tend to respond and remember things that are consistently the same. Similarly having the same design functionality and visual aspect on all your pages creates flow and makes the user familiar with your brand. So it’s rightly said – “ Consistency is the key to everything”.

Organizing the web pages makes the page crawlable and easy to move through.
